I had a really bad week last week. I was in a dark place. I was sad, angry, disappointed, tired, weak, anxious, etc. Anyone familiar with those emotions? It was a pretty hard week for me. However, I thank God for His lovingkindness. I am so grateful for my parents, my AWESOME friends, and my AMAZING Pastor and his wife, as well as the wonderful youth coordinators in my church. On a lighter note, my friend took me to Caffe Demetre and I felt better immediately. I'm telling y'all, no matter wat funk I am in, food makes everything better. LOL.
Seriously though, the enemy was really at work, and I just got tired of fighting. Anyone knows what that feels like? I began to accept the lies of the enemy as truth and I began to slip in my walk with Christ.
Yesterday, I almost hit rock bottom. I was tired of running and fell into sin. However, my God is so loving, faithful and merciful. I woke up this morning to join my Pastor in our daily time of prayer and bible study, and He said we were going to focus on 3 things. The first was forgiveness. Lord knows I REALLY needed His forgiveness While the pastor was praying about that, my dad sent me an email about how Jesus already bore my sins. How amazing is Jehovah?
It's so great to know that we don't have to walk this walk of faith alone. We actually CANNOT. The spirit may be willing, but the flesh is weak.I know I always feel like I am not up to the challenge of being faithful. However, the good news is though we are weak, GOD is strong. Our flesh may fail, but God never will. When you feel like you've lost/ when you feel tired of running this race, rely on His strength. God will see us through. Hold your head up brothers and sisters. His grace is sufficient for you.

I may be weak but Your spirit's strong in me!
